Excerpt from Time for Willy

Willy sensed a group hug coming and of course, he wanted in. He barked and wagged his tail. That resulted in the “Willy hero-celebration”. Dad hadn’t had time to see him yet.

Dad grabbed his front paws and pulled them up to his waist so that he could pet, rub, and massage Willy’s neck and chin.

“What a day you had, boy! World-record-time for getting the paper, and chased off a bad guy for Sammy. You earned your dinner tonight! Good dog!”
